How to practice

Find a steady Headstand. Bend your knees slowly and guide one foot onto the opposite thigh, followed by the other foot into Lotus Pose. Keep pressing through your forearms, stay long through your torso, and breathe gently.

Benefits

Combines inverted balance and shoulder support with the hip mobility required for lotus legs.

Who should avoid or modify

  • Attempt only under expert supervision with painless lotus and a stable headstand. Never force the knees; avoid with neck injury, glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or pregnancy.
